Asslam o alikum and hello to my all dear friends and #actifit community members.
I am good and I hope all my dear friends will be fine.
Today, I walked to the graveyard where my beloved parents are buried. It was an emotional journey for me, filled with love, memories, and a deep sense of loss. I miss my parents a lot, and every few days, I try to visit them. Even though they are no longer in this world, I feel close to them whenever I go to their graves.
This morning, I made up my mind to visit the graveyard. I asked one of my friends to come with me. He agreed, and we started our walk together. The path to the graveyard was calm and peaceful. It was not very far from my home, but each step reminded me of the love and care my parents gave me throughout my life.
When we reached the graveyard, silence surrounded us. The air felt different there. I could feel a strong connection to those who were resting there, especially my mother and father. We stood beside their graves, offered Fatiha, and recited verses from the Holy Quran. We prayed for their forgiveness and peace in the hereafter.
This graveyard is very old. There are many ancient graves here, some of them broken and covered with wild plants. The atmosphere tells stories of the past. It is also the place where my grandfather and great-grandfather are buried. This place holds the history of my family. Standing there, I felt not only sadness but also pride. These are the people who came before me, who lived their lives and faced their struggles. Now they are at peace.
The graveyard is near the mountains, which makes the view very beautiful. The calm mountains, the old trees, and the sound of birds made everything feel peaceful. Nature and silence joined together to give comfort to my heart. It felt like the perfect place for those who have left this world.
After spending some time praying and remembering my parents, we decided to leave. On our way back, we met another friend. We sat together for a while and had a friendly chat. We talked about old times, life, and how quickly everything changes. It felt good to laugh a little after the emotional visit.
Later that evening, after saying goodbye to our friend, we headed back home. The walk back was quiet. I was lost in my thoughts, remembering moments with my parents. Their smiles, their voices, their love it all came back to me like a movie playing in my mind. I knew they were not here anymore, but I felt their presence around me.
When I reached home, I sat down for a while and thought about the day. Visiting the graves of my loved ones reminded me of how short and unpredictable life is. We should love, forgive, and care for our dear ones while we still have time. We never know when someone might leave us forever.
Today’s visit gave me peace. I felt closer to my parents. I believe that as long as we remember our loved ones, they are never truly gone. Their love lives inside us, guiding us through life.
Life goes on, but some days remind us of what truly matters. Today was one of those days.
Today I walked more than 5k steps.thank you dear hivers.
