Like yesterday, today I do a lot activities outside because the weather is very supportive. The activity this time also started with taking the children to school to take the final exams. Maybe early next week, this exam will end. After that there will be a long holiday. So that's when my job to pick them up to school can stop temporarily until they go to class next year.
This afternoon, after taking my child home, I was contacted by a friend to meet another friend who had just returned from Jakarta. So I hurried back to the city. Even though my original plan was, when I got home I wanted to make a post for my blog. But because I thought it was more important, I left again.
There it turned out that my friend was already sitting at the table. They've been sitting for about half an hour. As usual when I arrived, I got teased. Just like new students who get bullied from their seniors. Incidentally they are my seniors in terms of age.
Honestly I was very happy to meet them. The reason is simple, from them I can learn many things. One of them is a senior lawyer in my city. Meanwhile, there is another public relations staff at an oil and gas company who has decades of experience. Finally a banker. Currently, he is the head of a branch of a state-owned bank.
So sitting with them is like going to three lectures at once. Starting from legal issues, public relations to banking. But don't think that's all we discuss. Often times we fill it with funny stories and even memories of back in school.
Hence the two hours ended imperceptibly. Because a sense of extraordinary happiness to have friends who can bring such a pleasant atmosphere.
