Hi,
Thanks to the Ecency Christmas Challenge Week 1 organized by @mypathtofire I was able to discover this week the #tttt by . So first of all I want to thank
.
In order to introduce myself in the #music community I wanted to tell you that I love many genres of music, but undoubtedly the musical genre that most attracts me are the various aspects of heavy metal (power metal, death metal, glam, etc), so you can imagine where my selection of presentation will go.
But breaking with the stereotypes that from the outside are given to heavy metal lovers, we also have our sweet side and many of us like Christmas and enjoy doing a little bit the scoundrel like me behind this photocall.
So, in my first participation in #ttt I'm going to present you 3 heavy songs with Christmas marking that I hope you like.
Sonata Arctica - Christmas Spirits (2015)
Funny song where this fabulous Finnish Power Metal band tells the story in which some playful elves go with the spirit of Christmas past from bar to bar to have fun and build toys, but not children's toys.
Finally Santa can put order and in 24 days and corresponding nights as a time trial puts the machinery with his elves to arrive in time for Christmas Day.
Dokken - Santa Claus is coming to town (2007)
Don Dokken was one of the most important voices of heavy metal during the eighties. Over the years, he lost that powerful voice, as it happens in many bands, he fought with the most representative lineup of his band and began to release albums that went unnoticed by the general public.
However, in 2007 he released the compilation Monster Ballads Xmas. In this album appear other Christmas themes interpreted by glam singers like Kip Winger, L.A. Guns or Skid Row.
Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Rudy Sarzo, Simon Wright - God rest ye merry Gentlemen (2008)
To finish an entire album of havy band components that is a classic in my Christmas in which I select the song "God rest ye merry gentlemen".
This song is included in the Christmas album"We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year" which brought together several of the best known and celebrated figures of heavy metal in the world. This album featured rockers such as Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Rainbow), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Lemmy Kilmister (Mötorhead), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Alice Cooper, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Geoff Tate (ex-Queensryche), George Lynch (ex-Dokken), Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-Judas Priest), Chuck Billy (Testament), Joe Lynn Turner (Malmsteen, Rainbow), among others.
I hope you like this Christmas selection of hevy style tunes.
Best regards.
