ENTRIES FOR AFRI-TUNES WEEKEND (WEEK 2)
African worship songs with Alto Recorder by @Onos-f
kicks off this week's event with a beautiful African worship song mix alongside one of his wonderful students. He plays the melody of the songs with the Alto Recorder, while she accompanies him with the piano.
gives us a beautiful rendition of one of Teni's freestyle, If to say na Man. He plays this song in a unique way by giving it a pure afrobeat redefinition.
OSONDI OWENDI || D4MUSIC FT. MABELLE" by
brings more vibes to the Afri-tunes event as well as more beautiful singers, you know! 😉. He plays a mix of two popular Igbo songs alongside his Duet partner Mabelle. He accompanies their harmonious voices with his wonderful guitar strumming.
SOMETHING COOL FOR THE WEEKEND by
gives us something cool for the weekend. He gives us a highlife Groove peculiar to the Yorubas in their Owanbe gbédù and to the Igbos in their Nkwóbi joint 😁.
TRUMPET COVER OF PRINX EMMANUEL KUMAMA PAPA by
gives us a tremendous Trumpet Cover of Kumama Papa, a worship song that is presently on the lips of many Africans, since it became a viral Tiktok sensational song. He marvels us with his trumpet and puts us in the mood of giving praise and thanksgiving to God.
KUMAMA PAPA PLAY ALONG| FASTER VERSION by
No doubt, he is truly the magicfingerz. The name is apt and suitable for him. He shows his magical fingers as he plays the worship song Kumama Papa and indeed he blows our mind with this performance.
GBÓNÁ In The Style Of BurnaBoy by
"saxifies" the Afri-tunes Weekend event with the "melodious saxophone melody" of the Great Giant of African Music, Burna Boy. He plays Burna Boy's Gbóná with great style and great techniques.
MORENIKEJIMI by
wraps up the Afri-tunes Weekend event with her lovely smile and her sweet love song sung in Yoruba Language. The power of her voice and her beautiful melody will set you in the mood to love, not minding whether you just ate "breakfast or are about to eat break fast."
NB: Not your regular type of breakfast 😅
