Hoy es martes y como todo el mundo sabe, es el día #threetunetuesday. Por eso quiero compartir con ustedes, en esta serie de posts sobre Ídolos de una generación, tres canciones del quinteto pop venezolano Pentágono, que se hizo famoso en los años 80 y parte de los 90.

Como muchos de los grupos venezolanos de la época, Pentágono se desintegró y luego, con los años, ha intentado reagruparse de nuevo, en el exilio, y hacer presentaciones para recordar aquella época dorada de un país que lo tenía todo para ser feliz y no lo sabía.

Today is Tuesday and as everyone knows, it's #ttt day. That's why I want to share with you, in this series of posts about Idols of a generation, three songs by the Venezuelan pop quintet Pentágono, which became famous in the 80's and part of the 90's.
I want to start with the song Hotel California, a classic from 1977, which was successfully covered by Pentágono and immediately became a radio hit. It is well to say that many young people of our generation got to know the Eagles, and started listening to them, thanks to Pentagon's work.
The second piece is "Linda". A pop ballad that talks about love and desire. Linda is the adjective used by the singer to call the beloved Linda, only you enchant me,

The last piece for today is a little gem: "Aguanta corazón". This song talks about those relationships that start as a game and then, as always happens, one of the two falls in love and inevitably, loses out:
