A few days ago, I shared how I have began to dive into the world of Human Design and Gene Keys. This one time skeptic, taking a leap into the unknown. Opening myself up to other possibilities and broadening my vision.
It seems I will always come up against challenges in life, because I am here as a mirror to others and many will either run from me or run towards me. I will bring up a lot of emotions in people.
I must say, that I have found this to be the case, sometimes. Like I bring out the best in some people, but the worst in others. I also tend to get tied up in other peoples lives, so I have to do better with my boundaries.
It was super interesting to hear all of this, especially as I could really identify with so much. It's crazy really, how true it was.
I tend to exhaust myself, before I take a step back. I'm getting better at it. Having healthy boundaries, has been a huge life lesson for me.
So it s really important for me to look after my energy.
I tend to unplug for a while, from human interaction, aside from my kids that is. Where I can be barefoot on the land and focus on the simple things in life. To just live, without any complications.
There is nothing more revitalising for me, then having my bare feet on the ground, the sun of my skin and my body and mind in rhythm with nature.
My bare feet, connecting with the life force, that is the earth.
It is the first thing I do after I wake up, go outside to put my feet on the earth. To reconnect.

It is a daily ritual for me. If I start my day another way, I feel out of sorts. Especially if the days continue like that. I really feel myself, after I do it.
It is the most natural thing for us to do. To feel the earth beneath our feet, to have our hands work with and feed the soil.
The benefits of Earthing, are many. The way in which it helps to relieve stress and to help you release negative energy, whilst allowing you to recharge.
I have been living proof of that for quite a few years now. Yes my life can be intense at times. But the way I live, allows me to find my balance.
Nature is all about balance and by attuning to it, it really helps us to maintain the same. Or at the very least, find our way, back to it.
The simplicity of life, of being responsible for obtaining the things you need in life and taking responsibility for the actions you take, in order to get them. Connected with the resources, aware of your consumption. Instead of distracted by the many temptations placed in front of us, 24/7. Instead, of being consumed by them.
The way I live, allows me to do just that. To always find my way back, to myself. Where my true balance lies.
This is my response to the latest Kiss Blogging Ideas Challenge, from the wonderful Minimalist Community. Which asked, How we reset our Energy and regain Balance in our lives.
