In search of abandoned places in Barcelona for Lightpainting Part 2

If you are ever in Barcelona, ​​you should also visit Montserrat. I ignored that for years. Last November I was there every weekend for that. Of course I also planned a light painting there. I had the suitable places
Roca Foradada, a rock hole, spotted. When I went exploring there one Sunday, I scrapped the idea. The way there is too far from the parking lot and involves dangerous climbing tours. It's too dangerous in the dark.
So plan B came into question: El Bosc de les Creus on the (BP-1101). There you can park nearby. The way there is also steep uphill, but doable. The view of Montserrat from there is breathtaking. Especially when it is illuminated by the evening sun.

Initially, a total of 1,293 crosses were erected, one for each hectare destroyed in the 2015 fire. The crosses are made from the wood of the burnt pine trees that used to stand here.
Before the forest fire, wine was grown here and charcoal was produced. A few vineyard barracks and old charcoal pits can still be seen between the crosses.
The result is an impressive artistic set. A work that is inherently ephemeral. After fifteen or twenty years the work of art will have been destroyed by nature itself.

My idea was to definitely include the fire. As always, I went with minimal equipment. Luckily, Sven Hive account@lichtkunstfoto helped me build a calligraphy tool, which I carried in my backpack.

So with the help of this tool I created the flames. For the rest of the scene I used an LEDLenser P7R Signature. The first attempt, in the picture below, was not so convincing. The second attempt, which you can see above as the title picture, was more in line with my ideas.
