The Day of the Dead is celebrated differently in each country, although the Anglo-Saxon philosophy of Halloween with its famous trick and treaters, zombie costumes, ghosts and other similar creatures is becoming more and more widespread.
In my country, Spain, in recent years Halloween has been celebrated, but at the same time All Souls' Day and All Saints' Day are celebrated with visits to the cemeteries to say goodbye to our loved ones.
We lay bouquets of flowers and those of us who are believers say a few prayers in front of the niches and pantheons of our relatives.
And during these visits we can see that many cemeteries are actually authentic open-air art galleries, like this cemetery I came across a few months ago in the town of Castro Urdiales.
Best regards.
