Trying something new
Although The Pitch opened back in 2019, 
This baseball themed sports bar and grill is right in the middle of the brand new Shawnee Sports Complex. The restaurant was filled with sports memorabilia and there was even authentic baseball seating in the lobby.
What we ordered:
- Pretzel Bites & Beer Cheese
- The Pinch Hitter Burger
- Chicken Street Tacos
The food was actually pretty tasty. We may have gotten a little too full from the appetizer, the cheese was just so damn good. The burger and tacos were yummy too, but neither of us managed to finish our meals. I decided against drinking a beer, despite the fact that this place was centered around WV’s own Stumptown Ales.
The upstairs was closed to customers while we were there, so we didn’t get to go check that out. Next time I’m there I’d like to play some darts.

Just look how beautiful and happy this girl is. She found a new red dress at a local thrift store and was very excited to get to show off her latest find. I love her style and the fact that she’s not afraid to be herself. It doesn’t matter if there is a ton of people around, she’s still down to take photographs with me.
If you don’t know me well, then let these photos enlighten you. I’m all about having fun and being silly. As you can see, I am unable to hide this fact when out in public. Actually I think a better way to put it is that I refuse to remove a part of my personality to please others. This often results in me seeming totally cuckoo, but I really don’t care at all. I’m extremely satisfied when I’m able to get a laugh out of someone, even if it’s at the expense of my own grown-up reputation. I think it’s more important for an adult to be able to act like a child sometimes, rather than it is for that same man to be sophisticated non stop.
Us
Here we are together finally. Totally blinded by the sun and unable to hide our love for one another. I’m happy that we finally made the short trip to try The Pitch. I’m even more excited about the fact that it was such a gorgeous evening and we were able to capture more images that will last forever. We make a damn fine couple if you ask me. What do you think?
