Following on from a previous post here are some more images from the charity photoshoot that took part in last December.
We had set ourselves a modest target of £150, knowing that every penny counts, and we ended up smashing that and reaching £600... a decent amount of money and much appreciated by the charity in the run up to Christmas.
The location for the studio was a tiny little place down on the edge of Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Although on the small side, it had all sorts of equipment in there, from studio lights to cameras to sound recording equipment. It really is a great little space, and one I hope to use again soon.
We may have been there to use the studio facilities (lights and backdrops), but I was struck by the enormous bright yellow shutter door thing... it was simply begging to be used as a backdrop, and so I immediately obliged with RJ (above).
The bright yellow was a perfect contrast to the blue suit he was wearing
Back inside, I got to work on one of the portrait set-ups. There were 5 models taking part on that day, and they all had a variety of outfits to change into, along with different props that both models and photographers brought along
First up was Liv, in a gorgeous black dress... I handed her a black bowler hat (actually one of mine from when I used to do steampunk stuff) and asked her to 'strike a pose'... and it was perfect!
Next up was Rachel. I was doing some generic portrait shots, and one of the photographers stood next to me said "you really could do with a fan there, to make the hair more interesting".
Phill (studio owner): "Yeah sure, I've got a fan!"
I positioned it about 2 foot in front of the model, and turned it onto HIGH... excellent, another shot in the bag
While all this was going on, 
He took a few shots, and we were amazed at how awesome they were, and then he made the fatal error and asked:" Does anyone want a go?" We all leapt at the chance!
Here is Amy with some beautiful soft lighting courtesy of the reflector in front of her. Behind is the funky tin foil back drop with orange on one side and dark blue on the other... well worth the effort of Rich setting all that wouldn't you agree?
Leaving the others to play with the lighting inside, RJ and I headed back outside, in search of a suitable background. The studio is actually just a small industrial unit, and the sides of which were perfect to match the bad attitude and leather jacket
Oh god, theres that yellow shutter again...
"Amy! Are you still wearing that beautiful blue dress? Can I borrow you outside for 2 minutes?"

That colour combination of sunshine yellow and dark blue was flippin' fabulous!
Anyway, I'll end this here for now... I've got plenty more images to share, but I need to edit them first... s'pose I better get back to work.
