Light Painting Portraits,
Let us do something different. Long exposures are very uncommon in the world of studio portraits but Light Painting, opens up the ability to add multiple features in one image.
Here is my interpretation of portraits in the studio using the Light scanner that I always use for lighting up people in Light Painting then adding some dramatic features with the black fiber optic brush. Almost like you have multiple exposures layered in one Image
Machen wir es mal ein bisschen anders. Langzeitbelichtungen sind in der Welt der Studioporträts sehr ungewöhnlich, aber Light Painting eröffnet die Möglichkeit, mehrere Merkmale in einem Bild hinzuzufügen, fast wie Mehrfachbelichtungen.
Hier ist meine Interpretation von Porträts im Studio mit dem Lichtscanner, den ich immer verwende, um Menschen beim Lichtmalen zu beleuchten und dann mit dem schwarzen Faseroptikpinsel einige dramatische Merkmale hinzuzufügen.
You do see once again the final Light Painting first. Second, you see Agustine Lighting test behind the Silks. The last image shows a simple Lighting Test to see how much the mask is reflecting.
Hier seht Ihr zuerst das finale Light Painting. Zweitens seht Ihr die zweite Interation Agustine hinter den Silks. Das letzte Bild zeigt den einfachen Beleuchtungstest, um zu sehen, wie stark die Maske reflektiert.
What were the settings?
With a 39 second exposure time, the main featured shot is not particularly long for my standards. The shot behind the silks is only 27 seconds exposure time.The camera was always set to ISO 100 and the Lens to F5.6.
Mit 39 Sekunden Belichtungszeit ist die Hauptaufnahme für meine Verhältnisse nicht besonders lang. DasFoto mit Agustine hinter den Silks ist nur 27s Belichtungszeit. Die Kamera war jeweils auf ISO 100 und das Objektiv auf F5.6 eingestellt.
Who is Agustine?
Agustine is a Dancer and Performer from Uruguay living in Berlin. We met during a festival and became friends. Though the last year we collaborated a few times and here I share with you the first results of our last shoot.
Agustin is working on a project to incorporate multiple photographers seeing an individual through different eyes. We started to unveil my view of him and will continue in a few sessions.
Agustine ist ein in Berlin lebender Tänzer und Performer aus Uruguay. Wir haben uns während eines Festivals kennengelernt und sind dann auch schnell Freunde geworden. Obwohl wir im letzten Jahr einige Male zusammengearbeitet haben, teile ich hier die ersten Ergebnisse unseres letzten Shootings mit euch.
Agustin arbeitet an einem Projekt, bei dem mehrere Fotografen eine Person (Ihn) mit unterschiedlichen Augen sehen und mit der Kamera festhalten. Wir begannen, meine Sicht auf ihn zu enthüllen und werden in einigen Sitzungen fortfahren.
