ROTATE THE BURIAL MOUND

On my second visit to the burial mound I took some camera rotation pictures. These images were taken during a single exposure and were not edited on the computer. I rotated the camera around the optical axis during the exposure and repeated the illumination of the scene accordingly at each step. In the first image I lit the burial mound with the 660nm torch and the rest of the scene with the Emisar D18.
Beim zweiten Besuch des Hügelgrabs habe ich einige Camera Rotation Bilder aufgenommen. Diese Bilder wurden während einer einzelnen Belichtung aufgenommen und nicht am Computer bearbeitet. Ich habe während der Belichtung die Kamera um die optische Achse gedreht und die Ausleuchtung der Szene entsprechend bei jedem Schritt wiederholt. Im ersten Bild habe ich das Hügelgrab mit der 660nm Taschenlampe und den Rest der Szene mit der Emisar D18 beleuchtet.

I then shot several versions with different rotation angles without lighting the stones red.
That night I had several viewers. One fox didn't like the fact that I was waving the torches around. He barked at me until he disappeared after 15 minutes. After that, a smacking hedgehog came by and took a quick look at what I was doing. And then a deer came and stopped some distance away and watched me work for quite a while. The graves were busier early at 2 o'clock than during the day.
Im Anschluss habe ich dann mehrere Versionen mit unterschiedlichen Rotationswinkel aufgenommen ohne die Steine rot zu beleuchten.
In dieser Nacht hatte ich mehrere Zuschauer. Ein Fuchs, dem passte nicht so recht, dass ich mit den Taschenlampen rumgefuchtelt habe. Er bellte mich an bis er nach 15 Minuten verschwand. Danach kam ein schmatzender Igel vorbei und schaute kurz was ich tue. Und dann kam ein Reh und blieb in einiger Entfernung stehen und beobachte mich eine ganze Weile bei der Arbeit. An den Gräbern war früh um 2 Uhr mehr Betrieb als am Tag.

After I had turned the camera enough, I needed a smoke break. During this, I exposed the scene from a slightly greater distance for 10 minutes. In the meantime, the moon had set behind the trees and illuminated the scene in orange light. I lit the foreground with the Emisar DM11.
Nachdem ich die Kamera genug gedreht hatte brauchte ich eine Raucherpause. Während dieser belichtete ich 10 Minuten die Szene aus einem etwas größeren Abstand. Mittlerweile war der Mond hinter den Bäumen untergegangen und beleuchtete die Szene im orangen Licht. Den Vordergrund habe ich mit der Emisar DM11 beleuchtet.

When I arrived at 11:30 pm, the scene looked like this.
Bei meiner Ankunft um 23:30 Uhr sah die Szene so aus.

Shortly before sunrise, I took the last picture of the protective stones of the tomb.
I would like to show you some more pictures of the tomb in daylight.
Kurz vor Sonnenaufgang habe ich als letztes Bild die Schutzsteine der Grabanlage aufgenommen.
Gerne zeige ich euch noch einige Aufnahmen der Grabanlage bei Tageslicht.
I could well have spent several more nights there. But unfortunately, as always, the holiday was far too short. But I will definitely pay another visit to the island of Rügen.
Ich hätte dort durchaus noch mehrere weitere Nächte verbringen können. Aber leider war, wie immer, der Urlaub viel zu kurz. Aber ganz sicher werde ich der Insel Rügen einen weiteren Besuch abstatten.
