THE PASSION MADE VISIBLE
That's how it looks in my head most of the time. There, the photons move back and forth in a more or less controlled way. Normally, the people around me don't see that. That's why I captured it in a light painting.
So sieht es meist in meinem Kopf aus. Da bewegen sich die Photonen mehr oder weniger kontrolliert hin und her. Normalerweise sehen das meine Mitmenschen nicht. Aus diesem Grund habe ich das mal in einem Light Painting festgehalten.

First I created the light figure. For this, I had attached two Ryus Lighpainter torches with acrylic blades to a rod. This rod was rotated by a motor. After each rotation of the motor, I turned the camera 30° around the optical axis. In the second step, I changed the lens and moved the camera to a second, previously aligned tripod. I placed a bright torch so that it illuminated the wall. I stood in front of the wall and took the cover off the lens for about 2 seconds and then finished the exposure. As always, this picture was taken during a single exposure.
Zuerst habe ich die Lichtfigur erstellt. Dafür hatte ich zwei Ryus Lighpainter Taschenlampen mit Acryl Blades an einem Stab befestigt. Dieser Stab wurde von einem Motor gedreht. Nach jeder Umdrehung des Motors habe ich die Kamera um 30° um die optische Achse gedreht. Im zweiten Schritt habe ich das Objektiv gewechselt und bin mit der Kamera auf ein zweites, vorher ausgerichtetes Stativ umgezogen. Ich platzierte eine helle Taschenlampe so, dass sie die Wand beleuchtete. Ich stellte mich vor die Wand und nahm für ca. 2 Sekunden die Abdeckung vom Objektiv und beendete dann die Belichtung. Wie immer wurde auch dieses Bild während einer einzigen Belichtung aufgenommen.

Because the first picture worked right away, I thought there was more to it. The basic procedure was the same. However, this picture was not nearly as easy to realise as the first one. The now smaller rotation had to be exactly in the lens of the headlamp. So first I took a picture of my head with the headlamp. This gave me the opportunity to use Live View on the tablet to place the lens of the headlamp exactly in the centre of the picture. The rotation is always in the centre anyway because the camera is rotated exactly around the optical axis. However, it took me several attempts until the size of the rotation matched the size of the headlamp.
Weil das erste Bild auf Anhieb geklappt hat dachte ich, da geht noch mehr. Die grundsätzliche Vorgehensweise war die Gleiche. Allerdings war dieses Bild nicht annähernd so einfach umzusetzen wie das Erste. Die nun kleinere Rotation musste schließlich genau in die Linse der Stirnlampe. Also habe ich zuerst meinen Kopf mit der Stirnlampe aufgenommen. Somit hatte ich die Möglichkeit über Live View auf dem Tablet die Linse der Stirnlampe genau in der Bildmitte zu platzieren. Die Rotation ist sowieso immer in der Mitte weil die Kamera ja genau ausgerichtet um die optische Achse gedreht wird. Ich habe aber trotzdem mehrere Versuche gebraucht bis die Größe der Rotation mit der Größe der Strinlampe übereingestimmt haben.

This picture would have been the easiest of the night if I hadn't had the stupid idea to place a star in the middle. This is a so-called aperture star. With a small aperture, in this case 16, the light source, a normal torch, becomes a star. With some lenses, however, the stars do not look so good. This depends on the number and manufacturing quality of the aperture blades. In my opinion, the Meyer Optik Görlitz lenses paint the most beautiful stars on the sensor. In any case, I needed several attempts until the star was actually in the right place. The other parts of the picture were quite "simple".
Dieses Bild wäre eigentlich das einfachste der Nacht gewesen, wenn ich nicht die blöde Idee gehabt hätte genau in der Mitte ein Stern zu platzieren. Bei diesem handelt es sich um einen sogenannten Blendenstern. Bei kleiner Blende, in diesem Fall 16, wird aus der Lichtquelle, einer normalen Taschenlampe, ein Stern. Bei einigen Objektiven sehen die Sterne aber nicht so gut aus. Das hängt von der Anzahl und Fertigungsqualität der Blendenlamellen ab. Die meiner Meinung nach schönsten Sterne malen die Meyer Optik Görlitz Objektive auf den Sensor. Jedenfalls habe ich mehrere Versuche benötigt bis der Stern tatsächlich an der richtigen Stelle war. Die anderen Bildteile waren recht "einfach".
