I know that walls often talk, but there are places where they talk more.
I didn't really go that far into this kingdom called Fusterlandia, I didn't go more than two or three blocks down the same street. It was already late and I had to go back. In fact, I got really scared. I arrived home in the last light of day, pedalling like hell, with strength I got from I don't know where, as my bike is completely dark. I haven't bought the batteries that come with your headlights. However, this was not my main concern, but to pass through desolate places, at night, where unscrupulous people take advantage to do their misdeeds.
This place is at the entrance to Jaimanitas, a community that lies to the west of the municipality of Playa in Havana.

Ever since I bought my bike I wanted to go there. The opportunity arose because I recently arranged to meet the boys on the coast and one of them (who couldn't go) asked me to go and get a saddle for his bike. He had already located it to buy it right there, in Jaimanitas.
The boys accompanied me to make the purchase and then we decided to go inside for a few minutes to see these colourful walls.
So this will be a preview of a trip I want to make very soon, but early in the morning.
Let's take a look at some pictures and also have a chat, why not, with some fragments of art and fantasy that I managed to bring here.
TIME
I know I have to take the time to see as much detail as possible. Take this street, for example. I remember I realised I was leaving it behind and I reacted with surprise. I pointed out to the boys that we could also find surprises along this road.
This is a project that has been going on since the 1990s when José Rodríguez Fuster, a Cuban naïve artist specializing in ceramics, painting, drawing, engraving, and graphic design, decided to locate his workshop and gallery in this fishing village. Among his fantasies was to make something beautiful, useful and very eye-catching, and he succeeded, as he was not the only one who participated in the creation of these murals. Many followed him when they saw him engaged in this great work.
I have to visit this gallery. There are so many things that I need to admire and talk about... and it will be soon, you can be sure it will be soon, because when something gets stuck in my head it becomes almost an obsession.
That house you see there is a doctor's office. I stood in front of it and kept thinking about the fact that the doctors' names are engraved there... what if they are not the same today as they were yesterday? I don't know. I was left with some doubts.
And of course, since I didn't sit on the bench of poetry... maybe I should now try a few verses... 😑
Yes or no?
...
If you ask me for verses I will write them, be sure.
But... I would like the translation of these here. 🤔
Wait, let me bring it closer.
This got me thinking about a song, I don't know why.
(just a small part of the lyrics)
Si nous n'étions pas d'iciNous serions l'infini
Et si l'un de nous deux tombe
L'arbre de nos vies
Nous gardera loin de l'ombre
Entre ciel et fruit
Mais jamais trop loin de l'autre
There are many restaurants and businesses in Fusterlandia. I hope to visit some when I return. I already know that It will be hard for Madrugué Productions to get there before this rooster wakes up. 😁
Ya nanixxx, come on, it's late, said the bad boy! 😂
