Yep, it's a fascinating insight into the ways of nature, and the ground must be warm when the wind scoops it up to meet with the cold icicles above the mountain tops. They say that wherever mountains are, there will be storms, as they interact with different temperatures.
I have some pictures of the dome with snow on it somewhere and will have to see if I can find it. We don't mind the cold, as it is so nice to see the snow on the dome. Maybe it will still happen this winter.
Been a long time for us to decide to take the big step into the unknown by relocating, but finally we decided to just hang up and go. Now we are happy, as we have everything that we ever wanted. So, yeah, it was well worth it.
