Yesterday, I tried to upload a post on LikeTu, but I had some issues with it. I pinged to see what was going on through Twitter, and he pinged me back to see what could have been the issue. After investigating a little bit more, and providing Elmer with a bit more information about it, he fixed it right away. Things like this make me think about how lucky we are as users and developers to be able to communicate with devs (and their users), imagine trying to reach out to Mark Zuckerberg and receiving an instant reply from him. Yeah, we're not going to see that.
So here I am, trying to get my second post published through LikeTu. Finally, I was actually telling about it, as she uses Instagram from time to time, but I want her to be more active on Hive. Hopefully, I can motivate her a little bit with these photographs that I took of her baking skills!
Lackofcolor's 2nd submission!
A few weeks ago, her stepfather was celebrating his birthday, and he requested (and paid for) a cake made by Lackofcolor. It's her 2nd submission-based bake-a-cake deal. I love seeing this kind of motivation, as it is really making things more tangible and real to start selling her own homemade carefully crafted cakes and cookies (her gooey cookies are also insane). The cake looked amazing, and I didn't have to think twice about making a few photographs of it that she could use to promote her skills. Don't ask me what's inside of it, because I mostly cared about eating it. I think it is supposed to be caramel buttered, something something, chocolate. You already lost me at cake.
Not did it just look good, but it tasted amazing as well. I also made a short video (when can we add videos ? haha) for her in about 10 minutes that looked pretty good. I've been cheering for her on the sidelines since the moment I tasted her cookies and cake. But still, she seems to doubt herself (she really shouldn't). So, yeah, here I have to showcase her baking skills with my photographs as she doesn't do it herself! :D
There is no such thing as "too much cake"!
We all love cake, don't we? We eat it mostly during festivities to celebrate birthdays. But let's be honest... if this stuff is in front of you, I think we both can agree that there is no such thing as too much cake. I'd love thicc crusted apple pie (super thicc crust), but I know lackofcolor can make one of the best Tiramisu Cheesecakes out there. I'm a lucky man. I truly am.
Anyway, here are a few photographs of something to enjoy that you can't actually have (sorry).
ps; she's finishing another cake for her mother as we speak... (nope, not trying to make you jealous, just informing you)
Cheers,
Ruben
