I think I can say that photographing people is what I enjoy most as a photographer. Even if these photos are not taken in conventional situations or poses. For this reason, I was very happy when I was commissioned to make this series of portraits.
The client, Carolina Perez, was ending a cycle in her life and wanted to register this moment with a photoshoot at a waterfall. So we found the ideal place and took a short car trip to make the photos on a December morning in 2019.
I really like the result of these images and I'm in love with Carolina's expressions and look.
On this day I made several images using fabrics and veils, most of them being part of my collection of costumes for photo shoots. Maybe one day I should do a post here just showing these clothes. I have pieces that are really amazing and I can say that they are pure gold.
This blue veil, by the way, I had already used in a previous session with another model and I will certainly post the result here soon.
As I said, I did varied photos of Carolina on this day and you can check others here in this previous post. I can say that they have a darker atmosphere, mostly due to the black and white editing and the grain used as filters.
What did you think of this work? I'd love to hear what you think about this series of photos.
