Blue bird house ready for new spring tenant.
This house is on the edge of the woods.
Its on one of the posts of the fence around my garden facing a bit of open meadow.
I have another house on the opposite corner of the garden.
I started with three houses a few years ago but the winter, a bear, and some woodpeckers left them in disrepair. I used the parts from the three original houses and rebuilt two for this spring season.
I also found a little group of fairy houses by a cabin along the lake.
There are three houses in this fairy village.
The village is on the lake shore.
An ice storm coated everything with a glaze of ice this weekend. This tiny nest is frozen over.
I wonder if this nest will be re-used this spring after everything thaws out 🤔
