A couple of weeks ago I posted about an old 1800s water pump that we found underground (@terrywayne/awesome-underground-find). The pump was used to pull water from a stone reservoir to this tower. The tower would provide water to the passenger trains on tracks that used to run beside it.
While there we saw a very dangerous looking ladder that started about 10 feet up the tower, with a rope hanging off of it. After some deliberation about the safety about going up it, we eventually did and spun steel wool. The shots turned out great!
