Caramel Nuts Brownies
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be showcasing another homemade chocolate dessert. Caramel Nuts Brownies are your typical brownies but with a twist. Caramel usually blends well together with chocolate, the earthiness and bitterness of the chocolate in brownies blends well with the sweetness and the rustic mouthfeel of the caramel. The nuts also adds another layer of texture to brownies since you get that nice crunch and you can savor the sweet and buttery flavor of nuts. I used peanuts in this recipe but you can substitute it with other nuts such as walnuts, pecans, macadamia, almonds, and cashews. I personally love pecans and walnuts the most since pecans give you that soft nut texture while bringing out that nice rich buttery taste and walnuts give that classic crunch that a brownie has and it also has that bitterness that also counteracts the sweetness of the brownie and the caramel.
