In the world today it’s more about who you know instead of what you know. At the same time though, thats been the case for decades.
What you shouldn’t do though is think anything you see on the Tok platform is legitimate, especially idiots posing with expensive cars. There’s been so many articles exposing those frauds for what they are, liars. They go to a car dealership and strike a deal with them to rent the car for a few hours, and maybe even a house. They record a few videos doing stupid shit and then post it, give the car back and go back to normal shit or even a slightly expensive car like a bmw or something.
Take ANYTHING you see on there with a pound of salt. As for the local kids who started a business, that you have more faith in being legitimate. It may be difficult but it happens a lot.
The best thing to do is use that stuff for motivation to figure out what you can do to hustle and make some more money. If you hustle long enough you may be able to afford it, or even better invest in something worth it and get past the stupid expensive cars as they are a complete waste of money and time. Drive a decent but basic car and you’re much better off. Eventually you’ll realize having those assets invested and making you long term money is better than pissing it down the drain for some flashy piece of garbage.
