It's not meant to be sad...just real...an experience. I think people are so ill-informed because of the bad info perpetuated on social media and take unnecessary risk based on that false info and if they knew the reality and the journey of people who got it. Seems like everyone cherry picks the info that fits the narrative they want but that also harms innocent people that would be more cautious if all the myths were dispelled and I got tired of just seeing everyone calling it fake and treating it like a joke cause they want to go on vacation or to the mall and any high traffic close contact public places. Considering I got infected because of one of those people that thought it was all a big joke irritates me. Considering the struggle I think it's pretty insensitive for people to tell me to my face or other people that have struggled that it's fake and argue that point, just want to shake my head.
Yep we both got it twice. The first time in late 2019 was covid og but it wasn't anything too noteworthy, felt like a bronchitis and fully cleared after a month, mostly affected the elderly or pre-existing conditions badly ...why it got named the boomer remover. This time it was the brazil variant that is particularly vicious in young adults and middle aged people with no pre existing conditions. I have autoimmune issues and has no pre-existing condition and we both got just as sick, the only diff, his post covid symptoms are passing much faster than mine.
