Today after work ( it’s Friday, #marketfriday ) we went to the cabin. A weekend at the cabin is always a good plan whole the kids go to football game. I went to the farmers market.
The boys always want to watch the special goats throught the window looking out or in the shop. The market shop is one from a few farmers and the products they make from their produce. The farmers wives run the store and the products are so lovely.
We went there because we wanted to buy fresh cheese fondue. For this meal we needed three cheeses. Three different ones, with white wine. It’s to die for. The cheeses young Dutch , Leerdammer and enmentaler. The fact that it’s freshly made from cow milk makes it very soft and easy.
You can buy any amount you want and we bought 3 times 250 grams and that will be enough for 4 people and we don’t use all the cheese at once so when we see the pan is empty you can always put new in.
The white wine makes it a treat.
You can buy more products. There is so much, I made all the pictures from eggs to peanutbutter, from chocolate to cheese but also milk and joghurt. Cookies and honey. I love snooping around.

Fresh meat from the cows is Lao a possibility. A meat packet , possible from cows, lam and pigs.
Now we will go to have dinner.
And enjoy a short stay in the woods.
