Hi Hivers in community, I just had a chance to visit an interesting local specialty f\air which I want to share with you today. It is a fair in Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province. The main purpose of the fair is to introduce local products to travelers. Most of population in Dak Tang commune is Xo Dang ethnic minority. They live in a remote area and the special climate and soil. That's why we can find so many different special products here.
Below are some photos of Dak Tang commune where the fair took place. It's a small commune located in a remote area of Kon Plong district. People had a simple and happy life over there.
The fair attracted many travelers, investors and local people as well. Travelers like me came there to look for and buy good local products with good price. While they investors came there to look for an investment opportunity. Some local people came there to sell their products, while the other came there for their curiosity and the bustle atmosphere. You know they live in a remote place so they rarely see other people.
Talking about the fair, to start it, there were some performances from local people. I didn't know the meaning of the songs and dances, but from the expression, I could feel the happiness and welcoming. Although the performers were just teenagers, their performances were very professional. I had the impression that they were longtime performers.
After the performances, everyone could walk around to visit the showrooms to try and buy some products. There were so many different products over there such as ginseng, forest honey, dried fish, red rice, wild reishi mushroom,... All the products displayed there were grown organically or collected from the forests. That's why the fair attracted many visitors. For me, I liked dried snake-headed fish and red rice the most. It's great combination.
There were many clean and cheap local products on display there.
People have had the opportunity to try the products on site, and many have enjoyed and purchased them.
