Aunque la verdad es que soy bastante asustadiza para este tipo de género, pero digamos que lo que tengo de miedosa, lo tengo de masoquista porque simplemente no puedo dejar de ver películas o leer historias de terror, así me termine costando varias noches seguidas sin poder pegar un ojo. Mi gusto por el género del terror surgió a una edad temprana, cuando mi abuelo me contaba historias muy interesantes de terror y en lugar de salir corriendo o de pedirle que me contara otra historia más agradable y bonita, yo le terminaba pidiendo que me contara otra aún más terrorífica. Desde ese instante mi gusto por este género comenzó a intensificarse hasta tanto convertirse en mi favorito.
Do I like it? Of course I do! Although the truth is that I'm pretty scary for this kind of genre, but let's say that what I have of fearful, I have of masochistic because I simply can't stop watching movies or reading horror stories, even if it ends up costing me several nights in a row without being able to sleep a wink. My taste for the horror genre came at an early age, when my grandfather told me very interesting horror stories and instead of running away or asking him to tell me another nice and beautiful story, I ended up asking him to tell me another even more terrifying one. From that moment on, my taste for this genre began to intensify until it became my favorite.
Bueno, realmente me dan miedo varias cosas pero la principal de ellas sería encontrarme con un psicópata que comience a asesinar brutalmente a personas y que, de paso, regrese de la muerte en innumerables ocasiones para continuar con su masacre al mejor estilo de Michael Myers. Otra de las cosas que me causa algo de miedo, evidentemente, son las presencias o energías imperceptibles o simplemente como mejor lo conocemos: fantasmas. Nunca he llegado a experimentar una experiencia paranormal que me haya marcado fuertemente más allá de percibir el ambiente pesado o sentir que me observan, realmente no sé cómo actuaría si llegara a ver algo con mis propios ojos o experimentar cualquier fenómeno de Poltergeist.
Well, I'm actually scared of several things but the main one would be encountering a psychopath who starts brutally murdering people and in the process comes back from the dead countless times to continue his massacre in the best Michael Myers style. Another thing that causes me some fear, evidently, are presences or imperceptible energies or simply as we know it best: ghosts. I have never gotten to experience a paranormal experience that has strongly marked me beyond perceiving the heavy atmosphere or feeling that I am being watched, I really don't know how I would act if I got to see something with my own eyes or experience any Poltergeist phenomenon.
Al terror lo percibo en varias etapas. Primero comienza como si arrojaran agua helada sobre mi espalda, es como si sintiera una corriente helada que comienza a recorrer desde mi cabeza hasta mi espalda. Luego de eso piel se eriza y mi pulso se acelera. Verán, como científica siempre he tratado de buscarle una explicación lógica y sensata a las cosas antes de estar suponiendo algo sin sentido. Sin embargo, hay cosas que la ciencia aún no puede explicar al 100% y hay muchos sucesos aún cuyas interpretaciones científicas no son del todo exactas. Pienso que hay muchas cosas que se desconocen todavía y más aún, cosas que personas como tú y como yo están muy lejos de saber, quizás porque se nos intentan ocultar de cierta forma.

Lamentablemente, los seres humanos no conocemos la verdad absoluta de todos los misterios que envuelven a nuestro mundo, pero siempre he pensado que existe algo más allá de lo perceptible que vive cada día a la par con la realidad que conocemos.
