Ya he mencionado anteriormente que tengo dos mascotas, una perra llamada Luna, y una gata loca llamada Lys.
Mi gata es un poco odiosa, odia otros gatos, y no es raro encontrarla peleando, en los techos de las casas de mis vecinos. Así que imagínense mi sorpresa cuando, hace un mes, la escucho maullando tanto que me asustó, y cuando me asomo a mi ventana, tenía un gatito muy pequeño a su lado😳 Y de esa manera, Nyako llegó a nuestras vidas.

I've mentioned before that I have two pets, a dog named Luna, and a crazy cat named Lys.
My cat is a bit obnoxious, she hates other cats, and it's not uncommon to find her fighting, on the roofs of my neighbors' houses. So imagine my surprise when, a month ago, I hear her meowing so much that it scared me, and when I look out my window, she had a very small kitten next to her😳 And just like that, Nyako came into our lives.
Desde la ventana de mi cocina puedo ver el techo de la casa de atrás, la casa de mi abuela, Lys se escapa por la ventana y toma siestas allí. Hace más de un mes escuché a mi gata maullando muy fuerte, realmente me asusté, era un maullido de “pedir ayuda” (ya soy una experta conociendo los diferentes maullidos de mi gata😂), corrí hasta la ventana y ahí estaba ella, junto a una bolita de pelos muy chiquita, color naranja.
El gatito estaba en muy mal estado, delgado y sin nada de energía, apenas podía levantarse. Estaba arriba del techo, y al estar tan débil no sabíamos como llegó hasta allí, así que nuestra teoría es que Lys lo trajo de alguna manera🥺
From my kitchen window I can see the roof of the house behind, my grandmother's house, Lys escapes through the window and takes naps there. More than a month ago I heard my cat meowing very loudly, it really scared me, it was a "cry for help" meow (I'm already an expert knowing the different meows of my cat😂), I ran to the window and there she was, next to a very tiny little ball of fur, orange color.
The kitten was in very bad shape, thin and with no energy at all, she could barely stand up. She was up on the roof, and because she was so weak we didn't know how she got up there, so our theory is that Lys brought her there somehow🥺
Rápidamente, me pasé al techo a través de la ventana. Al principio el gatito estaba sumamente asustado, no quería acercarse y su mirada era de miedo, lo único que hacía era acurrucarse al lado de Lys, mientras tanto mi gata seguía maullando alarmada.
La opción para atraerlo era ofrecerle comida, la comida de Lys, y así poco a poco se fue acercando, hasta que llegó a mí y comenzó a comer, ¡estaba hambrento!🥺 También tomó agua, y se dejó acariciar. Era muy suave, y luego de comer recuperó su energía, comenzó a caminar y a explorar el lugar.
Quickly, I went to the roof through the window. At first the kitten was extremely frightened, she didn't want to come closer and her look was one of fear, all she did was curl up next to Lys, meanwhile my cat kept meowing in alarm.
The option to lure her was to offer her food, Lys' food, and so little by little she came closer, until she reached me and started to eat, she was hungry!🥺 She also drank water, and let herself be petted. She was very gentle, and after eating she regained her energy, started walking and exploring the place.
En el techo de la casa de mi abuela estaba guardada una jaula enorme de sus antiguos loros, la utilizamos para crear una casa improvisada para el gatito. Entre mi hermana 
and I we put blankets and a cushion, a container for food and another for water. It will seem unbelievable, but I felt that she was very grateful to us, it filled my heart with joy ❤️
Peeeero... no podíamos mantener un perro y dos gatos, entonces comenzamos la desesperada búsqueda de un hogar para esta gatita naranja. Le escribimos a todos nuestros amigos y conocidos, le preguntamos nuestros vecinos y hablamos con veterinarios, era una gatita hermosa y como todo animal merecía un hogar donde lo quisieran y cuidaran.
Aunque no lo encontramos. Ha pasado un mes y esta gatita aún vive con nosotros. En su casita, en el techo, pero cada día paso a darle comida y agua, además, ya aprendió a subirse a la ventana, así que puedo agarrarla para abrazarla🥰
But... we couldn't keep a dog and two cats, so we started the desperate search for a home for this orange kitten. We wrote to all our friends and acquaintances, asked our neighbors and talked to veterinarians, she was a beautiful kitten and like all animals she deserved a home where she would be loved and cared for.
But we didn't find one. A month has passed, and this kitten still lives with us. In her little house, on the roof, but every day I pass by to give her food and water, besides, she already learned to climb on the window, so I can grab her to hug her🥰
Al darnos cuenta de que no encontraríamos una persona que la quisiera, no quedaba más opción que hacernos cargo de ella. Lo primero era colocarle un nombre, y escogimos Nyako, porque así se llama una gata de un anime que nos gusta a mi hermana y a mí. Y la verdad es que es muy original🤭
Nyako es muy cariñosa, es dulce y está un poquito loca. Corre por todo el techo, y salta mucho😂 Es el claro ejemplo que un animal necesita amor y cuidado para estar bien, ella llegó muy mal, quería llorar cuando la vi, pero ahora está tan hermosa, gorda, y llena de energía. Ya no tiene miedo, cuando paso al techo ella viene corriendo hacia mí, ronronea, y me da “mordiscos de amor” en los pies.
When we realized that we would not find a person who wanted her, we had no choice but to take care of her. The first thing was to give her a name, and we chose Nyako, because that's the name of a cat from an anime that my sister and I like. And the truth is that it is very original🤭.
Nyako is very affectionate, she is sweet and a little bit crazy. She runs all over the roof, and jumps a lot😂 She is the clear example that an animal needs love and care to be well, she arrived very bad, I wanted to cry when I saw her, but now she is so beautiful, fat, and full of energy. She is no longer afraid, when I pass to the roof she comes running to me, she purrs, and gives me "love bites" on my feet.

Ahora, ¿cómo se comporta la señorita Lys con Nyako? Eso es algo divertido. Lys está esterilizada desde hace varios meses, se supone que ella no me iba a dar nietos, jamás pensé qué sería capaz de adoptar un gatito. Mi gata sigue peleando y corriendo a otros gatos que se acercan a nuestro techo, pero no pelea con Nyako.
Al contrario, la lame, se acuesta con ella, y la regaña cuando hace algo malo😂 Se preocupa y la cuida, camina detrás de Nyako cuando se va por lugares desconocidos a explorar. Sin embargo, después olvida que es madre adoptiva y me deja el trabajo a mí mientras ella se va a dormir toda la tarde.
Nyako intenta jugar con ella, la persigue, muerde su cola, y salta encima de Lys, pero mi gata sigue siendo una bola de pelos amargada y no le gusta, así que mira mal a la pequeña gatita y se aleja.
Now, how does Miss Lys behave with Nyako? That's kind of funny. Lys has been spayed for several months, she wasn't supposed to give me grandchildren, I never thought she would be able to adopt a kitten. My cat keeps fighting and running at other cats that come near our roof, but she doesn't fight Nyako.
On the contrary, she licks her, lays with her, and scolds her when she does something wrong😂 She cares and looks after her, walks behind Nyako when she goes in unfamiliar places to explore. However, then she forgets that she is a foster mother and leaves the work to me while she goes to sleep all afternoon.
Nyako tries to play with her, chases her, chews on her tail, and jumps on Lys, but my cat is still a bitter furball and doesn't like it, so she gives the little kitty a dirty look and walks away.
Mis padres y Luna aceptan a Nyako siempre y cuando no entre a la casa, pero a veces, cuando estamos solas, Nyako se aprovecha y llega hasta mi cuarto, me ha dado varios sustos😅 Cuando Lys la encuentra dentro de la casa, la regaña y me busca para que la saque.
En fin, aún esperamos encontrarle un buen hogar de confianza a esta bella y cariñosa gatita, pero si no es el caso, aquí tiene dos hermanas que la adoran y se preocupa por ella💜

My parents and Luna accept Nyako as long as she doesn't enter the house, but sometimes, when we are alone, Nyako takes advantage and comes to my room, she has given me several scares😅 When Lys finds her inside the house, she scolds her and looks for me to take her out.
Anyway, we still hope to find a good and trustworthy home for this beautiful and affectionate kitty, but if not, here she has two sisters who adore her and care about her💜
