Thank you everyone who posted and interacted for this challenge. Every single submission was excellent and a joy to read. You’ve also made my decision extra hard, though, and that's not just me trying to be nice.
We've had posts answering just one of the questions, a few of them and some even cover all of them! They come from both home educating parents and school teachers, so it's been great to see the topics from different angles. Then with all the Spanish entries and their deepl translations, I've learnt a new word, pedagogical. It's not a commonly used word in the English language, but obviously the Spanish translation is more commonly used.
After much time spent reading I've decided that every single one deserves some Hive, but there were a few which stood out above the rest.
I'm excited to gift 100 Hive to
I was wowed by
's response to how we learn. This is in both Spanish and English, telling us of experiences learning growing up and how these were passed on to their daughter for her own learning process.
I was struggling to pick just one for the runner up, so the next two get 25 Hive each.
and his wife homeschool and he discusses how they're preparing their children for the future, expanding on 6 areas which they feel are important.
is a teacher who is facing new ways of trying to teach his students from home with the current world situation, in a country where technology is not within the reach of everyone and not always reliable. He covers the questions on preparing children for the future and whether homeschooling has changed from how he'd first started.
5 Hive each also goes to:
who gave answers to all of the questions.
, a mother and teacher with insights from both sides.
, another teacher now having to teach from home, bringing this lovely visual post.
who expands more on how we learn.
who dropped back into Hive to share how she is preparing her children for the future.
who blessed us with two posts! The first tells us how she's preparing her children for the future and in the second she discusses how we learn.
Also , who I nearly missed, someone forgot to leave their link in the comments shares how he's educating his son.
Thank you also to who dropped some quick answers to all the questions in the comments and to
who has been having conversations on just about every submission. 5 Hive coming to you too!
Thanks goes and
for helping with the question ideas way back in December. They will be beneficiaries of this post.
