Isa sa mga bucket list ko ay ang pagpunta sa Maldives. Noong nasa Palawan ako noong 2017, inimbitahan ako ng isang babae sa Facebook na pumunta sa Maldives habang gumagawa siya ng guesthouse sa isla kung saan siya nakatira, ang Himandhoo Island.

One of my bucket lists is to go to the Maldives. When I was in Palawan back in 2017, a girl on Facebook invited me to go to the Maldives as she was creating a guesthouse on the island where she lives, Himandhoo Island.

The plan was, I could actually work there and promote her guesthouse business. Since I am a travel blogger and promoted several hostels, guesthouses, and travel tours in the past, I could be a good fit. Since I am also an adventurous person doing scuba diving, free diving, and other excursions while traveling, I could cover that in promoting their business.

In 2018, I went to Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia but never got the chance to book a flight to Maldives just for a visit. Anyway, the flight was expensive. So going to the Maldives needed a thorough plan. Anyway, I just met my husband while traveling in Thailand. And I realized that "Love Life First, Honeymoon to the Maldives later." Hahaha!

I can't stop talking to my then-boyfriend now husband about the Maldives. That someday, we could go there as a couple, and do our honeymoon there. But, our first honeymoon was made in Bali, Indonesia. Hehehe!

The girl in the Maldives, who is now my friend, and I still get in touch on Facebook. She speaks the same language as me in Cebuano but she's actually from Leyte. Since a lot of things during the pandemic, her plan was on halt while I was pregnant with the first and the second baby within 2 years.

After the pandemic, traveling is starting over again. And she gave me updates about her guesthouse. And so, she decided to ask for help from me with the website.
