A few days ago I was writing about generating AI creations with the use of hive or ecency points, right here and today I will make a post about a new free service offered by Google.
Many video apps require credits that are not cheap, Sora has recently stopped its operation because it was not viable as a product any more (I never had a chance to use it), you need to pay to be able to use Grok imagine, but Google starts to offer a free service?
I was surprised, but let's go and see how it works. How long do you think we will be able to use this free?

When you click vids.new - you are transferred to your google account (so, yes you will need a gmail to make this work) - it will not work with another email.
You can use most of the services free of charge, except from the AI avatar and Lyria3 (music)
Choosing the first option, it looks really easy to use.
You can either write a prompt or animate a photo (similar to other apps)
I will try animating a photo that I created earlier today
The user can copy the link and share (just as any other document) or download
What is even crazier is that people with the link can either only view it or even edit !
You can add captions, a voice over, your voice, you can record .. you can do pretty much anything
This is the first test video that I created, I think I would not doubt its authenticity, what are your thoughts?
