Hive is powerful, versatile, capable of many many things… but we need to be honest
It’s not always easy to discover everything it offers, it is not always easy to make the most of it.
There are many many tools, dApps, games, and platforms built on Hive, but many of them are hidden, new, or simply hard to find.
So I decided to start something, similar to the Hive Guide that I posted about a few days ago (you can read more here: @katerinaramm/the-beginning-of-a-project-a-guide-for-hive)
A Hive Tools Directory - ongoing work in progress
I’ve created a Hive Tools & Apps Sheet where I collect:
Tools & platforms, Games, DeFi & earning apps, Analytics & dashboards, Utilities & services and more
Most of the entries include:
Description
Creator / Team
Category
Tags (for easy search)
Links
Notes & tutorials (when available)
I have not decided yet 100% on the categories and tags to use, I will wait on your input and then I will reconsider and make the final decision, so that it will be easy to find something if the categories are standardized. I will probably make something similar about communities.
To access the directory (now simply in a spreadsheet) visit:

Why I Made This
When someone joins Hive, a question that soon arises is ..
“What do I do now?”
This directory aims to answer that by becoming:
- A starting point for new users
- A discovery tool for experienced users
- A place to explore the Hive ecosystem
- A point of inspiration for new tools to create or to discuss about current projects
This is not a finished project, it is a work in progress that am thinking of continuously update, improve its structure, add new tools and tutorials..
For now, I would appreciate your help, if you know a missing tool, or if you have any correction, if you would like to provide feedback or a link to a tutorial, please do so.
Hive has one of the richest ecosystems in Web3, we all know it! However discovery, especially with new users is still challenging.
We can improve it together, as a community
