Thanks to the for implementing the achievement system, that motivates me to be active in an easy way. Love achievements :) But it looks a little strange to preserve the classification of users as in the Steemit ecosystem (whales, orcas, dolphins and minnows). Don't know why, I was absent during the fork. Maybe, it was decided to keep it as something authentic.
Anyway, the Hive is a much smaller ecosystem than the ocean, but no less complex. Bees are amazing creatures that have lived in their own well-functioning society for millions of years. And their model shows efficiency. Let's try to classify Hive users as bees with different roles.
In a simplified version, we have 4 main roles in the Hive. Larvae, drones, workers and queens.
Larvae (Minnows)
Small, white, defenseless, hanging out in her isolated honeycomb. Constantly sends signals to the Hive in the form of modest posts and comments, the essence of which is "feed me with voices". No one knows what she will eventually be reborn into. Maybe it will be a drone, a worker bee or even a future queen. Or, the poor larva will quietly die in its honeycomb, stop calling older brothers.
A large number of larvae is the key to the growth and development of the Hive. After all, each larva contains unlimited potential, which can be realized in any of the other roles. Unfortunately, she will not be able to fully realize her potential on her own, without the support of older bees. But the larva must not give up…
Worker bees (Orcas and Dolphins)
This class is very diverse. Gatherers, builders, nannies, water carriers, and security guards. They found their calling and clearly follow it, working for the benefit of the Hive, first of all I think about the benefits and the result, not about the reward. After all, the bigger and stronger the Hive, the better for everyone.
Nannies (,
,
...) - are those, who look after the larvae, feed them, create communities to support these babies, guides and contests.
Builders and security guards (,
,
...)- crypto-enthusiasts and witnesses who are expanding the Hive space in a global environment. They plan the architecture, maintain the operability, create the foundation for this house. Improves the usability of the platform for the protection and convenience of users and content.
Water carriers and Gatherers (,
,
,
,
...) - users, who produce quality and unique content on an ongoing basis, set trends for discussion. After all, a social platform without content, like a hive without water and food, cannot survive.
Drones (No Steemit classification. Bees, who dream to fuck the Queen)
Drones do not clearly bring production benefits to the hive, they do not work, do not build, do not guard, do not care for the larvae. The only goal in life is to find the queen and fuck her. In the past, these were maggots who decided to go along the "jackpot" route.
They do not contact with the rest of the hive, minimize communications. Their task is to attract the attention of the queen and get the maximum profit from her. Ideally, become her favorite, when each post will receive the Queen's vote automatically.
Not everyone comes to success, in a real hive, the drone dies immediately after mating. Those who remain virgins, will kicked out of the hive by guards in autumn. In a sense, when autumn and winter come to the crypto market and there is no chance to fuck the queen, user drones voluntarily leave the platform. But don't belittle the importance of drones! It is thanks to them and the queen that new larvae are born. I think that a lot of larvae come here, seeing the explosive success of some drones and imagining that they can do the same. This is the way.Queens (Whales)
There may be one reigning queen in a classic hive. The platform has evolved a little in this direction and used the practice of Brachygastra mellifica, which allow for the existence of many queens.
Beekeeper
The omnipotent, omnipresent, god and the devil in one person, who can decide the fate of the entire hive. Who is he? Well, good news my fellow-bees, we live in a wild and free Hive. Beekeeper Justin Sun stayed at Steemit. Good Luck.
