I Want You All To Know That I Won @Trumpman's Guess The Silver Contest - Round 13

Ever since I joined Hive seven weeks ago every week I have been plagued by this guy called Hive account@trumpman. You see he does this competition thing where he posts up a picture of a tiny part of a silver coin and you have to scour the internet, if you don't happen to have the coin at home, and try to identify the coin using your powers of detection and patience. If you're the first person to comment with the right coin identified you win the contest, you win 200 Pimp.

So I have been trying to win this sodding thing for weeks. I must admit it's a bit of fun but I do it mainly because I think it's best to engage him as I don't want him to feel sad that no one will play his contest with him. So I do it for him really.

Anyway, seven weeks ago I said to myself I'll give it a go this once and then as is the nature of Hive I got hooked on a damn contest - a Hive account@trumpman contest! Can you imagine how sad my life must be? Right? Yup.

So I'm prepared to spend some time on this and hunt down the frickin' coin and engage him and his contest, spending hours of my life on never winning. It's actually not as easy as you think. I have tried for weeks and weeks to find just one of the sodding coins and have never managed to successfully do it. Here's one of his examples.

Piss easy right? No chance.

Then this week he publishes the contest as usual and decides to really up the irritation. It seems that every time Hive account@trumpman runs his contest he puts in what is now an obligatory 'I'm not going to give clues because it's too easy this week' line. I'm like are you shitting me? It's the toughest contest on Hive going!

But as usual I find myself not wanting to hurt his feelings by not engaging in his competition but this week I decide to let him know just how I feel with the following comment.

He doesn't respond. He doesn't need to because about 5 minutes later I send him another message.

This is the most emotional moment for me since my Hive journey began and I know that there will be many of you out there wishing to congratulate me. I have prepared a speech.....

It's been tough on Hive at times but it's moments like this that make it all worthwhile.

Alright I'm over doing it now. Seriously though I'll hand it to Hive account@trumpman, he runs a decent 'hunt the silver' contest each week which gets a lot of attention and he's a funny guy, in more ways than one! It is an engaging contest and if you're into precious metals and coins you might want to give it a go, even if you're not it's a good way to challenge your detective capabilities. And if you identify the coin in your winning comment in addition to the 200 Pimp he'll hit that comment with a chunky upvote so get on it!

His other types of posts are usually about bats or jellyfish or Xylocopa Pubescens.
