Hmm.. The Hive community is small compared to most big social media sites. I have found that there is very much a sense of community here that you simply will not find in other social media sites.
For myself? I had who helped make me feel at home when I was new. I had
give me advice on how things worked and even now gives me a poke when I do stupid stuff.
Many of the people here will work very hard to help a newcomer because we all know what it feels like to be new and a bit lost. I even had see our thread and offer to help out if you had questions.
As far as I'm concerned you are family here and I will help in any way I can. No need for feeling awkward :D
I will admit, I'm still waiting to see what you can write as I think you'll be a great addition to the community. I may not agree with everything ;) but that's part of the fun :D
