I had a very slow start on Saturday even though I was up at 5:45AM. I didn’t get the post up until 9AM. Then I just sat around all morning. I didn’t get started on the Christmas house decorations until 1PM. It took just over an hour to collect them from all corners of the house, a lot of walking! Then I sat down for an hour.
I was, of course, well supervised.
I got started about 3PM carefully wrapping and packing away each item. I finished about 4:15PM and sat down some more. These are ready to go upstairs.
This is a keto adaptation of ’s post she made a couple days ago.
I found the artichokes at our local co-op and ordered some and my brother would pick them up on his way home. There’ was a bit of confusion on the order, but it was straightened out and they arrived in time.
I went out just before dark at 5PM and picked the very last of the kale. I can’t believe it’s survived the really low temperatures we’ve had so far this year.
Soon the zucchini was zoodled and everything was in the pot. It cooks pretty quickly!
The hardest part was zesting the lemon. It was really delicious and I have plenty for leftovers.
Just before I went out to start supper I came across this in my feed. It was a free screening of the movie. So after supper I watched it. Sort of scary but nothing I didn’t know already. Here’s the link if you want to watch it. It’s pretty long, nearly 2 hours.
On Sunday I have to get going as I need a shower, need to clean the kitchen, and get ready to go to the Smith greenhouses for 9:30AM. We had hoped to go while it snowed, but the snow doesn’t start now until 5PM. The forecast is for 5” – 10” of snow, but there’s a chance it will go south of us and we will get much less. If I’m not too tired when I get home, I should start taking things off the Christmas tree. We’ll see…
