Today, aside from Valentine’s Day, marks the beginning of the "Lenten Season" in the calendar year of Roman Catholic faith were us, the members of the church, celebrates the "Ash Wednesday" by donning our forehead with ashes. This season is the time for us worshipers to reflect, to fast, and to repent up to Easter Sunday.
So for today, I will be having a homemade cheesy pancake for lunch and I’ll show you the easiest way to prepare and cook it.
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 4 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon White Sugar
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 3 tablespoon Butter, melted
- Cheese, sprinkle
Preparation for cooking:
In a bowl, sift first your all-purpose flour, baking powder, white sugar, and salt.

After that, make a well in the center for your eggs and milk.
Crack two eggs and place it in the center then pour the milk and melted butter.
Mix it well until smooth like thin cream. Sprinkle cheese afterward.
Directions for Cooking:
- Heat a frying pan on medium level and brush oil enough to cover the surface.
- Then pour the batter into the frying pan, approximately ½ cup for each pancake and add some cheese.
- Wait around a minute before flipping it over or when the sides are starting to look brown. Do not overcook it.
- Serve your hot pancake with butter and syrup. Enjoy!
