Adobo dish in the Philippines is very popular. It Is considered unofficially national dish in the Philippines.
It is very likely that Filipinos could have been cooking meat in vinegar but instead of vinegar, I changed it to pineapple to give it a twist..
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 chicken
3 pcs. potatoes
soy sauce
pineapple
pepper
onion
garlic
water
COOKING:
1.In a heated pan put some oil then saute onions and garlic.
2.Add chicken and stir. Continue stirring til the meat absorb the flavor of the sauteed onions and garlic
3.Add sliced potatoes and stir. Simmer for 5 minutes until the meat becomes tender
4.Add soy sauce and pineapple then pepper. 1/2 cup of water. Stir and simmer for 15 minutes.
5.Transfer it to a bowl. Done! and enjoy eating...
