Nothing else interest’s you in the hallway so you decide to move on to the next section. This however was going to take a while as you had the remaining of the long hallway to finish walking down before it would turn into another direction down yet another hallway.
After a fair bit of walking, you realize the other direction you could have gone down you now facing. You however had your reasons for not wanting to go down that other hallway for one reason or another. In part, you just did not like the vibe the other way was giving.
You have also now been on this structure for quite some time. With how massive this place was it was quite obsessive you would not be able to search every single area. It was time to truly move ahead and you took another turn taking you further away and down what seemed like another long hallway.
This time however you could see there was something massive that was partway down it. At first, you could not make out what it was. Other than it looked like it had a window and was almost the height of the hallway itself.
The closer you got you realized it had some kind of rubberiest track on the bottom. They were not quite wheels but it looked like it could use that track to move forward or backward from its current position. Almost like this vehicle was expecting to go through some thick marsh where normal tires would just get stuck in the mud.
After some time you got close enough to the vehicle that you could touch it. It took up almost half of the hallway itself and looked like it could hold around nine people inside it if needed. There were two doors on either side although it would have been hard to get out of the one side with how close it was to the wall.
You for sure thought something like this would be locked. So a slight shock washed over your face as you were able to pull on the handle and the vehicle door opened at an angle vertically.
Before you went fully inside the vehicle you decided to walk around it first. It had a couple of strange symbols on the front of it that you have no idea what they were trying to indicate. There also seemed to be some lights that were currently off on the front as well.
As you returned to the back of it. That is when you realized there was a small amount of trunk space you could see through the back window. It was as empty as the rest of the vehicle was. It also did not seem large enough to transport anything large. The entire purpose of this was just to move people around the structure.
You decided to further inspect things. You noticed that some of the paint on the side closest to the wall had scratch marks. Like someone might have been a little reckless and crashed it into a wall.
You looked up at the wall itself. It was however unharmed. If there had been an accident it did not appear to be in this hallway.
You make a couple of further circles around it before gaining enough courage to get into the vehicle itself. Once you sat down in the passenger’s seat the door closed all on its own. The front dashboard then lit up with red symbols and started to flash them.
After the red symbols stopped flashing a diagram depicting a card was shown to be sliding into the center console. You checked your pack back to see if you have looted any such cards on your journey so far in this station.

After attempting quite a few times to get the vehicle to start even by sliding over to the driver’s seat without any success you decided it was time to move on. This vehicle was a nice distraction however did not want to help you on your journey forward.
Your stomach however started to growl. It has been quite some time since you had last eaten anything at all. Since it was clear you were not anywhere near your ship you decided to set down your pack back and take a food cube out of it.
While you were getting rather tired as well. You did not want to sleep in the middle of a hallway let alone the vehicle that kept flashing a bunch of lights on the dashboard at you. You decided perhaps the next office that has any kind of spot you could sleep on would be good enough.
After having some thoughts about how boring this station was you got to your feet. It was time to take quite a long walk down what seemed like a never-ending hallway. The minutes turned into many hours of walking.
At one point almost went insane how the hallways just kept going on and on without any reflection that it ended let alone seeing any other doors down it. You decided to jog for a while trying to quicken how long this search of going through the station was taken.
It however did not matter how long you jogged. It seemed like it was just going to go on forever. At one point being out of breath, you almost collapsed onto the floor. It was time to take a short break and collect you.
You attempted to contact the ship’s computer through your wristwatch. You however did not get any kind of response back from the computer. After staring at the never-ending hallways for quite some time it felt like you became somewhat hypnotized by it.
You started to slowly close your eyes and don’t recall ever feeling asleep at all. You would be sleeping for quite a few hours. Thankfully there would be nothing nearby to wake you so you could get some proper rest.
