You noticed the first doorway on the right is slightly ajar. The lights in that room also appear to be off or perhaps broken. You slowly start making your way to that door. You hear a slight click sound but mostly think nothing of it. You reach out to push the door open.
(If you have found any signs that someone from Corporation C-199X has been on this station take this option. Otherwise, continue moving forward down the post.)
You stop for a moment and think

You push open the door. At that exact moment, you do hear a string tightening, a click, followed by a swishing sound. You have triggered a trap and a spike swung down. You did your best to avoid being hit by hit in the face.
While you have survived. The spike did puncture your oxygen tank. You hear air gushing out of the small hole that was made. You quickly rush into the room and rip open one of the drawers. In there, you find some heavy-duty tape. You quickly ripped some off the roll and applied it over the space tank.
Despite how quickly you managed to plug the hole in the oxygen tank you still lost a lot of air. From your best guess you lost 20 units worth of oxygen. Thankfully despite if this depleted or not any remaining oxygen you had remaining you would at least survive.
You double-check to make sure you did not suffer any other damage. Other than a scuffed and slightly hurting knee. It seems you will be alright from this encounter.
This trap however has startled you quite a bit. You start to wonder if other parts of this room might be booty trapped as well. As such you decided to take the search with extra caution. You would hate to trigger anything else that might have been left behind from who or whatever set up the trap in the first place.
