You put on your helmet and jump into the water. It is quite dark down there and you find yourself having some difficulty swimming downwards. The lake ended up going down a lot deeper than you were expecting.
You evenly came to the tunnel you had spotted from above. As soon as you were at eye level with it you noticed the passageway was blocked. There was a sealed door that you were unable to push or pull open.
Carved into the tunnel rock were two ID keycard readers.
(If you have both a Black and Yellow ID card you can proceed ahead by using them. If you don’t have both ID cards you can proceed below.)
Not finding any other way forward without the ID cards you decided to swim back up to the surface. (You ended up only using a unit of oxygen instead of the 20 expected).
You take off the helmet and spend a few minutes waiting to air dry. You did not feel it was a good idea to walk around all wet covering yourself further in mud and rock slime. Perhaps the only good news is most of the mud had washed away from you diving into the lake. It however would not be long before you were covered in mud again from exploring the cave.
You headed east back out of the tunnel you came from. Then headed west before going east yet again. This took quite a few hours before you found yourself outside of the cave again looking into the snow whip across the landscape as the wind picked up.
You could head to the north tundra or the south tundra, or head back into the cave again.
