You decide to take the path leading to the right of the trail. While at first it just looked exactly like the other path. You soon realized this one seems more traveled on. As far as what was traveling on it you still don’t have the slightest clue you can only hear the wind and nothing else. The forest is otherwise forbiddingly quiet.

As you continue to walk deeper and deeper into the forest it is starting to become almost dark. Not from the time of day but rather from how dense the forest was starting to get. Yet, there was still a clear path forward without a single branch or twig sticking out onto the path.

After several more hours of this and it gets so dark to the point the light on your wristwatch switched on to help guide you through the path. You noticed off into the distance there was a rundown multistory house.

The house itself was overrun by the forest itself. Unlike the trail that mother nature for some reason seemed to be avoiding taking over again. This house was deemed to be hers. The roof and sides of the house were covered in moss. All the windows appeared to have been broken out and sealed in vines preventing you from looking inside.

While the front door was still standing ajar. It was no longer on the door hinges. This also meant it was not locked and you could open it if you dared.

You could decide now to turn around and go for a long walk back through the way you had come. It is however starting to get quite late. There is not enough time to explore further south.

Otherwise you could also just go inside and hope to find a place to set up for the night if possible. Either way, you are running out of time and need to make a choice now of what you want to do.
