I bought air fryer quite a long time back and once I made fish in it but my dad won't like the taste but me and my brother were fine that atleast we are eating healthy. So my dad packed it up again. These days of lockdown I was trying to convert some of the dishes to a healthy version. So I insisted my father that let me use air fryer. So In India, we make a typical soya chaap by deep frying the soya sticks and then making it in curry. So I tried making my deep fried soya chaap to an air fried version and trust me, it felt so happy that we are able to eat such a healthy thing.
This is the marinated soya sticks, for the marination, just take curd, spices ( whatever you have that could be red chilly, black pepper, turmeric, any spice), salt and lemon. Add blanched soya sticks and let it sit for about half an hour.
This is the air fried chaap, trust me this was even better and healthy version.
Now I have permanently switched myself and my family from deep frying to air fried. Now even my father likes it.
