Summer months are perfect to make these Desi fryums that are healthy with no additives and have a shelf life for years. Making these is a tedious job, but ladies out here are hard-working and can do anything for their children and grandchildren. No matter how much you can spend, you won't get these out there in the market. Even if you get, it won't taste as good as the ones that your mom has made for you.
It is usually made in 3 variants i.e. onion, garlic and asafoetida. I personally love the garlic ones that taste heavenly can goes perfectly with rice and curry. All you have to do is deep fry these sun dried bits of taste and in seconds these will fluff up to become a perfect accompaniment for your lunch or dinner.
My mom spent around a week making these onion and garlic fryums that we will use during the rainy season when you want to eat something fried and spicy.
