I’ve been going through some things at home and have needed a mental reset. I often play videos games or watch a movie for this kind of stuff. It’s like turning off your conscious mind to let your subconscious short things out. Or shutting down your conscious mind to hear the universe providing answers for you. During a normal day it’s easy to “shut down the mind” and just do your normal daily tasks. I did that as well at night I got lost in the new Netflix series “Black Summer” the story itself wasn’t too complex, but the action drew me in. So I watched that and just tried not to think of things and wait to see how I felt after.
Bingo! The Universe responded! My friend Emery is a close friend who lives far away. I’d see him more if he was closer! We don’t spend too much time texting, but when we get together we can’t stop talking. Chatting it up almost all day when we get together. He texted me to tell me his results on his new diet. He’s already lost 18 pounds and the one thing that really caught my attention was his talk of mental clarity. He actually called me, which is slightly out of the norm. In our conversation he claims he has never been so mentally clear in his adult life. That’s a big claim, but he’s a very reliable source! Also something that caught my attention is that when you start it could be rough, due to the shedding of fat. The shedding of fat isn’t that bad for you, but chemicals that build up in your body get stored in fat. So when you shed that fat those chemicals are becoming active in your body. Lots of water could help them pass through. Being that I’ve been talking and thinking of chemicals lately, this I found interesting. Also I guess your body can attack old cells and convert them into new cells 4 times faster than normal. This has been linked to anti aging effects from fasting.
Here is a video of a Dr. talking about all the benefits and kind of how this all works.
My favorite thing he’s said was no excuses! It costs no money not to eat and not eating saves time doesn’t cost you time, like going to the gym. Not that physical activity is bad, but from what I understand that should be for building muscle and not losing weight.
Good news! I’ve actually been trying this for a week now and the results have been really positive. I’ve had more weight loss than mental clarity. I think that comes with time. I haven’t changed my diet to much. I’ve cut out a lot of carbs and “some” sugar. I’ve been active more, although that’s a conscious effort it’s been easy with the warmer weather! I’ve only lost 3 pounds, but I’m hitting lows I haven’t seen in a while. I’ll be really excited to under 200 pounds! Should be next week some time! Have a great day!!
Oh my basic strategy is not eating after 7:00 and then pushing back my breakfast. Longer the better, this allows fat to burn and weight loss to occur. Really simple just eating less!!
My steps are up like the price of bitcoin!!😂😂👍
