We are a typical Filipino family who migrated here in Italy way back late 2014. That's why I miss my family in the Philippines during holidays and special occasions.
I love cooking. So every time I miss the Filipino foods and delicacies.. I will grab my pan and have the whole day cooking.
My husband and daughter loves my "Pansit". Pansit is a noodles sauted with soy sauce and vegetables. Sometimes I used bihon, sotangjon or egg noodles for this.
Another favorite during a cold weather is "Goto". This is a porridge made with glutinous rice and topped with ox stripe, egg, fried garlic and onion leaves.
Shanghai lumpia is another food favorite. Sauted ground pork and vegetables plus spring rolls wrapper will complete this idea.
Nilatikan is also one of my favorite Filipino delicacies. It is made of glutinous rice, coconut milk and brown sugar.
Puto Kutsinta is undeniably delicious too. This is made with glutinous rice flour, brown sugar topped with shredded coconut.
The attractive color of Sapin-sapin delights my daughter. This is made with glutinous rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, flavorings and food color.
