Hey Guys !
I'm a bit late with the introduction but please welcome me anyways ^^
My name is Yves and I'm from Germany. I haven't really ever introduced myself so bear with me you are in for a ride.
So first of I'm 21 and a student, studying renewable energies in my first semester.
But thats not why I'm here right now. What led me to steem is actually my biggest hobby, cooking and baking my own food. Which is something i have enjoyed doing for as long as i can remember. While my brothers found interest in cars and games you could find me cooking or reading books.
So beeing the youngest in the family I'm sadly the only one who didn't get to experience my grandma famous cooking skills, as she sadly died months before i was born on a brain tumor. But even so she left me a great inheritance that I will forever be thankful for. Her cooking books and own recipes which she created over the course of her life.
There just is something relaxing and soothing in browsing through her books and reading her tips and the recommendations, which she left for her children and grandchildren, so that we would not have the same difficultys, as she once had. I really have to thank her for awaking this urge in me. This urge to experience all kinds of different cooking methods and dishes. I have already spent countless hours trying out new things and there are still so many recipes that i haven't even read yet. And so after learing of steemit and reading through some blogs I had the spontaneous urge to just join and contribute some of my own recipes to the blockchain.
So the only thing left to explain is probably my weird username right ?^^
Well as I mentioned i love cooking and reading. And i think its fair to say that I spend just as much time cooking as i do reading books. Well perhaps I spend even more time reading. And i have read quite a wide range of books. From crime to philosophy and for the past 4 years heavy sci-fi. And in the past year or two I started reading chinese fiction stories. And that leads me to my username FromAboveHeaven which has to do with so called wuxia stories where the goal is to break through the heaven and achieve immortality. Sounds quite arrogant and corny if I'm beeing honest with myself. But whatever I still like it to much to change it now x.x
So I hope you are going to enjoy my recipes as much as i enjoy doing them and I'm looking forward to beeing part of this community!
