Hey World, my name is McAD and it's good to be here!
First things first, let me thank 
Who am I??
Well, as I said in the title, my name is McAD. I am a human first, then a son, then a father, then a family member, then a member of my greater community and world. I am an emcee with two music projects, the Freedom Movement which was created in 1999, and the Wandering Monks which was created in 2010. While music is my passion and my main occupation, music as a medium has always been secondary to my drive and passion for personal, social/cultural and political change, and not just change but an implied progression of improvements. My philosophy is that change must, and should, start with the self. Knowledge of self, self improvement and character development are primary to the trickle down that motivates all individual actions that fuel and feed the collective. To critique and change the outer world morally, efficiently and effectively, the inner world must reflect the outer ideal. In other words, your sh!t shouldn't stinky before you fling poo.
My partner @Linguistory and I have been actively working to promote the non-aggression principle, alternative currencies and self determination across the country for years, steemit seems like the next best logical step!
Be The Change!
As steemit is testament too, a big part of a healthy thriving culture or community, is the value of the content the organisms contribute or bring to the table. GIGO, Garbage in .. Garbage out. As many of us who would seek out a more sustainable and rewarding friendship/partnership/society/ideology/currency etc have learned, it's not just what you hope and desire the outer world will bring to your pallet, but what you're capable of creating and contributing on your own to offer out to the world at large to make the individual and collective experience better, brighter, safer, more jovial and more meaningful.
Steemit seems like a healthy and common sense answer to where I would hope social media and the greater cyber community should start to go. For the most part I have avoided FaceBook, Twitter and even Instagram for obvious reasons that most members of this community surely already understand. I have been studying, educating and promoting the idea of sovereignty, freedom of nationality, non-aggression and self determination since 1999 when I started the Freedom Movement. FM was initially based around community building, self improvement, authentic non-violent communication, integrity and mediums (such as music) that could creatively and enjoyably facilitate these conversations and ideas. Originally my point of focus was involving indigenous peoples and nations, often specifically focusing on the Pine Ridge Reservation and the social/political and spiritual state of the Sioux as a starting place of dissection.
Two decades later, the goals are very similar, the education and lessons from mistakes have grown exponentially. The knowledge and increase in consciousness amongst the general populace and potential critical mass has grown exponentially in the last decade alone, and especially post 9/11. Conspiracy theories are everyday news and commercial talk now a days. Skepticism concerning government incompetence and domination is the mainstream sentiment across the greater country now. The American dollar's stability is not only an equation manipulated and discussed on Wall Street, but is now understood more intricately by the upcoming crypto generations, than some of our most traditionally educated elders graduating from mainstream American education systems. Now, the public body politic isn't just receiving programming on how to act, speak, think, talk and walk .. they are redefining and reexamining what it means to be alive, what it means to be human, what it means to be safe, what it means to be inspired and what it means to be fulfilled, and they are actively creating that reality. In other words, the Movement is gaining Steem.

We are planning on utilizing all of steemit's platforms as we get settled in however, to support the community fully, and consolidate our energy over to the crypto world.
