Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and all those that may fall in between!
Let me start off with an easy introduction. I am a thirty year old man, married with two children.
I have been a member of steemit for a little over a year. I had great expectations of myself to create a brand and establishing a line of income that would allow my family and I to live the comfortable life we always dreamed of.

How did that go, you ask?
Poorly.
Not because of the platforms I selected, but rather because of my own fears, procrastination, lack of attention, and quite frankly laziness.
Though I find myself today with a renewed vigor. I can attribute this to many things:
I have a boss that notices the effort I put in at work, and even earnestly appreciates it too!
In October 2018, my wife and I decided to make a positive change in our life, and for once we set goals that were easy to meet. We cut way back on the fast food. We didn't "diet". We made a lifestyle change; eat smaller portions, eat clean, and exercise. We kept this up through the new year. (We had a few bad weeks around the Christmas and New Years Eve area, but who doesn't?)
About the second week of January, we transitioned to a Ketogenic diet. I had researched it and fell in love with the science. My original plan was to do 3 months of keto, then transition back to a normal carb high protein diet. That plan has changed. Keto was far easier to stick to than I ever could have imagined, and the results have been excellent. Though our training has been very spotty, I have lost nearly 40 lbs.
I turned 30 at the beginning of March and I was in the best shape I had been in since 24, weighing in at 298 lbs.
As of yesterday, I hit 289.
So, now that I have covered some success, lets talk about the big reason for this post. Today I have started to expand my brand. I stumbled upon a community called Wealthy Affiliate. Have you heard of it? Well, if not, stay tuned.
It is a community with a wealth of knowledge and tools for building your online career. Hundreds of thousands of people who help each other, share ideas with, find motivation in, and expand your brand with.
I have only just started, but I do have high hopes for what this may bring. There are so many success stories on this platform.
