Bonjour everyone,
Coming all the way from France, here we are for our introduction post on Steemit. Sorry we’re not gonna be posting about baguettes, Louis Vuitton or omelette du fromage, but rather about what we enjoy doing the most: travelling (and eating…)
Speaking of which, you can find our first post if you click on this link: https://steemit.com/travel/@haydae/5-religious-sites-you-need-to-see-in-east-asia
First, let us introduce ourselves. We’re a young French couple, currently living in Normandy (if you remember your history classes, that probably rings a bell… D-day, anyone?). We haven’t always lived there though and actually met further south in a city called Lyon, five years ago.
Here’s a little something about us both:
Hedi: a student in web-development and keen on photography, part of the crypto-world since 2014 (which doesn’t mean he earned anything other than a couple bucks). Other important things to know about Hedi, you ask? Never managed to reach top 1 in Fortnite even though he plays it every single day, really into board games and a big fan of kpop (we both are to be honest).
Clémentine: currently working as a travel agent specialized in Japan, South Korea and Mexico, and studied foreign languages and journalism in both Europe and Asia. She’s fond of travelling and when she doesn’t discover foodie heavens or visitis museums and churches, she enjoys sleeping until 1PM, loses it in front of cute photos of koalas 🐨 and plays Ace Attorney endlessly.
We made the decision to join Steemit to make the most of our common passion for travel and to share our experiences in the hope it might help or inspire some of our fellow Steemians. We have lived in quite a few countries such as Japan for a year, the United Kingdom for a couple months and we’ve lived together in Australia on a Working holiday visa for around a year, and have visited some amazing places that we want you to discover in our future posts. ;)
What you’ll find in our Steemit posts
It will mostly revolve around our travel stories but we’ll also post some useful tips and advice, probably a few tops here and there about our favourite places as well as our favourite food, some insight on cool weekend getaways and obviously quite a lot of photos to make it more endearing and fun to look at!
STEEM and SBD ?
We think transparency is key in the cryptoworld so If we have the chance to earn some Steem money through our content what will we do ?
- 50% of the money we get will be used to give back to the community of fellow travellers and photographers on Steemit
- 50% will be used to fulfil our dream of a year-long trip around the world.
