Hi there Steemit users!
I'm Rebecca (biology student, sociologist, social worker), aka Health outside the box. The name comes from my focus on health and my approach to it. I am devoted to what I call "health optimisation" which I engage in through biohacking and self-tracking, with a mindset off the mainstream road. I live with sugar addiction, hypothyroidism and Hashimotos which I treat on my own. Rather than chasing perfect health, the optimisation in health optimisation represents the creation of optimal conditions for health. For me, this includes - among other things - slow and toxic free living, fertility tracking (instead of hormonal bith control) a ketogenic, organic diet as well as living the life one truly want to live.
Since March I been featured on blogs (Adafruit.com, lchfingenjoren.se), Instagram accounts and Swedish well-known podcast Gott Prat. Here on Steemit I will be sharing my journey; all the do's and actions of my health optimisation. I will focus on practicalities and the mindset behind, as well as sharing my favourite tips and trix on how to feel good and be your best self.
As most of my posts will be chronologically ordered, I will begin from the beginning. I will post some of the earliest posts first and then work my way forward, until today. In this way, you will be able to follow my development while at the same time getting a better understanding of both the details as well as the bigger picture.
