Hey there steemit community,

I was told by Hive account@sykochica & Hive account@dragons that I should make an introductory post now that I have joined. So hello, my name is Drew.

But seriously, my name is Andrew, but all who know me just call me Drew. I grew up in Missouri, but moved to Colorado with my girl (Hive account@dragons) about a year ago & we are loving it. We have traveled most of the US between road trips & hiking. Yes, we hiked over 1600 miles of the Appalachian Trail in 2012/2013 which was a wonderful life experience.

I am a chef by profession, have been cooking for over 16 years, 4 of which I was head chef at a fine dining steakhouse. So if anyone needs cooking advice feel free to ask.

Forgive me as I am currently working two jobs, so most of my posts & whatnot will be on the weekends when I have time. I am somewhat politically motivated so expect to see a weekly post or rant or something like that pertaining to what's going on in the world, as well as food or random pictures from our hikes & the beauty of Colorado.
